She got here on Saturday, which, incidentally was also Nick's 20th birthday. The original group-Nick, Carly, Katie, Rish, Becca, Miranda & I-went to Pag's in the North End for our customary Italian experience, and it was great. Just like last year. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Holds true. Then we went back to Nick's house, and did jager bombs, and smoked, and laughed until I ran home at 5 in the morning wearing Carly's day-glo green hoodie and two scarves. Then yesterday, Carly came over in the afternoon, we went to Newbury, to Urban & the Virgin Store, and it snowed. I got a grey scarf and matching mohair mini skirt, and we both got a pair of rad maroon suede lace-up boxing-style boots, but didn't want to wear them in the snow, so they're in my closet waiting to be christened. Car wrote her name in the snow with her foot, which we determined was better than her handwriting, and took a picture of it from out our 4th floor window. Katie thought it was awesome, and reminded her of the Looney Tunes "Eat at Joe" bit. It was too bad that Katie had to study, but car and I smoked, played an intense game of monopoly (winner TBD), smoked again, and fell asleep watching Cowboy Beepbop. Nicked called at 10 and wanted to smoke to celebrate the completion of his final exams, but we were too tired and had smoked too many times, so I groggily congratulated Nick and went back to bed. Nick tried to smoke down by the river, so he later reported, but felt like the sketchiest dude, and it was windy and cold, so he just went back home and went to bed. Car and I woke up around 2, I revised a paper, ran it over to COM, picked up lunch at the GSU, and eventually showered at 6. Car & I met Nick at the Kenmore stop a little after 8, where I dropped the bottle of Quervo Gold in the T and it echoed, defeating the purpose of my discreet wrapping of the bottle. We rode to Trident and had some tea and breakfast. We stopped by Noah's apartment, then walked to Shaw's from Brookline in the cold. We picked up some Margarita mix, cheese-its, pringles, and teddy grahams, and laughed because I thought Elfudge was pronounced as if it were Spanish, El Fudge. We walked back to Nick's, drank Margaritas, smoked, snacked, and watched the 5th Wheel (twice) and every imaginable late night talk show, commenting on ridiculous people, ridiculous statements, and were surprised by Michael Stipe's astute comments on humanity. Carly & I walked home at 4, and had good conversations about New York and how our history is now separate from the life story our parents would tell. Now it's 4:30, Katie and Car are asleep, and I'm going to finish my essay and sleep as well.

Oh, and so I don't forget, I am going to download the transcript from an interview b/w Conan & Charlie Sheen, in which they discuss the Olive Garden, the redundancy of Charlie Sheen having a bachelor party, and something else that I thought was hilarious but don't presently recall. And I was surprised at the maturity and relative youth of Charlotte Johansen.
